Care can feel separated
Physical, mental-health and social supports are often delivered apart from one another.

ABOUT MOTION FOR MINDS
Motion for Minds brings movement, mental wellness, life skills and community together to help people build confidence, connection and greater independence.
↓ Discover our storyWHY WE EXIST
People living with disabilities and mental health challenges can face care that is separated across different places, approaches that do not fit how they engage best, isolation, and barriers to consistent support.
Motion for Minds exists to bring movement, mental wellness and social connection together in a supportive community.
Physical, mental-health and social supports are often delivered apart from one another.
Some people engage more naturally through movement, activities and shared experiences.
Disability and mental-health challenges can make connection, identity and purpose harder to maintain.
Cost, transportation and other barriers can interrupt ongoing participation and support.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Movement, mental wellness, life skills and social connection work best when they come together. We take a holistic, person-centred approach that supports the whole person — not just one part of their journey.
⌁⌁WHAT WE DO
We create inclusive experiences that support healthier bodies, stronger minds and more connected lives.
Sports, recreation, adapted activities and mind-body movement help people stay active, reduce stress and build confidence.
Mental wellness, emotional skills and everyday life skills help people build confidence and handle real-world challenges.
Group experiences, outings and community participation create opportunities for friendship, purpose and belonging.
OUR APPROACH
The mix can change with each person's abilities, comfort, interests and goals.
OUR PROGRAMS
Programs can combine physical activity, adapted sports, recreation, mental-wellness support, life skills, group connection and community experiences. Activities can be adjusted to participants' abilities and comfort levels.
